Rebars
Rebars are rods of hot-rolled carbon steel made to various specifications, which
are essential components for the reinforcement of concrete and widely applied
in different construction works. Rebars can be classified in two broad categories,
namely, deformed bars and plain bars. Currently, the production of rebars in
Hong Kong is insufficient to meet the demand of the local construction industry
and thus, most of the rebars used in Hong Kong are imported by suppliers such
as VSC.
